What I owned

I designed the learning experience, connected the practice and content systems, built the responsive multilingual interface, and tested releases across the learner journey.

Current result

The live product gives learners a clearer path from a lesson into practice and back to saved progress, with text and voice available from the same experience.

What I noticed

Learners lose momentum when the lesson, conversation practice, vocabulary, and progress record feel like separate products. The experience needed a clear loop from learning something to using it.

What I worked on

    I brought lessons, conversations, activities, games, vocabulary, and progress into a shared navigation model.

    I built multilingual, responsive, and installable web-app behavior for practice across devices.

    I added review boundaries around generated course and audio material before it can be treated as finished content.

One decision that mattered

I kept chat and voice interactions in the foreground while secondary work runs without blocking the learner. Practice feels broken if the interface makes someone wait without useful feedback.

What I learned

Building HablaYa reinforced that a learning product is not a content library. The useful product is the practice loop and the confidence to take the next turn.

Current status

HablaYa is a live EdTech product. Its current production repository is private.
